This book is our attempt to help couples get a Biblical understanding of God’s purpose and intention for the marital sexual life. It is also our hope that this will give you a very practical guidebook to help you develop healthy and enjoyable sexual habits so that you can actually enjoy your sexual life together.
For the last thirty years we have been teaching on sexuality to young people in different parts of the world. We have also given many marriage workshops to help couples improve their marital relationship. Wherever we go we ask couples for their questions on sexual life. Each husband and each wife writes them separately and anonymously and we received hundreds of very personal and private questions. Those questions gave us an insight in how much couples all over the world struggle with their sexual life. We also noticed theological believes about sexuality which have absolutely no Biblical basis. As God is the creator of our sexuality we believe these struggles deeply hurt and concern him. We believe He has called us to shed His light into this sexual darkness. We have written this book with those questions and their experiences in mind, turning them as much as possible into a story.
